Mission
The Pepperdine Hawaii Club strives to educate and engage the Pepperdine community in Hawaiian Culture and its unique aloha spirit. In Hawai’i we have a saying - Aloha aku aloha mai - I give my love to you, and love will always come back. It was a poem written to describe the overwhelming feeling of the people you meet, the places you visit and the experiences and friendships that touch you in unforgettable ways. We hope these feelings reach our community when they attend Luau. Our vision is to expose the community to traditional hawaiian food, games, music, and dancing. Hawaiian culture is often times misunderstood, and Hawai’i Club wishes to be an informative, reliable resource to Pepperdine.
