AKA is comprised of a nucleus of 260,000 members in graduate and undergraduate chapters in the United States, the U. S. Virgin Islands, the Caribbean, Canada, Japan, Germany, Korea and on the continent of Africa.

Its membership is comprised of distinguished women who boast excellent academic records, proven leadership skills, and are involved in the global community through advocacy and service. AKA has dedicated itself to improving the quality of life for citizens worldwide and promoting peace.

Our ten founders were pioneers of the coeducational system at a time when society said women did not need higher education. Facing such opposition, our founders sought support from each other and formed Alpha Phi in 1872 at Syracuse University.

Alpha Phi's colors are silver and bordeaux, and its symbols include the Phi Bear and the ivy leaf. Alpha Phi enhances and promotes each member's development and learning by focusing on sisterhood, service, scholarship, leadership, loyalty, and character development.

Today, our sisterhood stretches from coast to coast through 160 collegiate campuses and includes more than 200,000 members. Sisters in Alpha Phi share a commitment to excellence and a strong desire to help one another and their communities.

Our chapter was first colonized as a local sorority, but became an international Alpha Phi chapter in 1996. To this day, our chapter is comprised of the highest caliber of women, each member diverse and unique, but bonded together in sisterhood.

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African American Men, was founded at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York by seven college men who recognized the need for a strong bond of brotherhood among African descendants in this country.

The Kappa Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega is comprised of young men at Pepperdine University who not only seek academic excellence and community involvement, but form life-long relationships with their fellow brothers. Throughout the past 12 years, this chapter has created life-changing experiences and memories for hundreds of young men. Through organized service, philanthropy events, and academic achievement, the members of Alpha Tau Omega continue to make their mark on this campus, the surrounding community, and the world.

Tri Delta is an international collegiate women's fraternity that was founded on November 27, 1888. With 141 chapters in the United States and Canada, it is one of the largest women's organizations in the world. However, Tri Delta is much more than that: it is a fraternity that was founded on our international motto, "Let us steadfastly love one another," which is so fully embedded into the essence of what it started as and of what it has become. Tri Delta is a place to share and grow with lifelong sisters of all backgrounds, where one is embraced for her differences and can truly find a forever place to call home.

Kappa Alpha Theta was founded in 1870 as the first Greek-letter fraternity for women. We value our history and our long tradition of leading the way for women's groups and women in higher education.

The Lambda Sigma Chapter is located in Malibu, California at Pepperdine University.

Our fraternity is a service group dedicated to the highest standards of philanthropy, brotherhood, leadership, and excellence. The brotherhood of Lambda Sigma began as the Lambda Omega Sigma Fraternity founded in 1983 and affiliated with Psi Upsilon in 1998.

The Kappa Omicron chapter of Sigma Chi, initially known as The Shield, started out much like that of the Sigma Chi International Fraternity. In 1991, two Brothers, Bill Scharing and Levi Sutter, decided that no fraternity at Pepperdine University matched the goals, ideals and values that they held dear. Having previously been exposed to Sigma Chi and having found it to exemplify their high ideals, they decided to work to found a chapter of Sigma Chi at Pepperdine.

Sigma Chi believes its members should have "different temperaments, talents and convictions" as did Scharing and Sutter. Sigma Chi maintains the idea that its members share a "common belief in an ideal" and most importantly, that "genuine friendship can be maintained without surrendering the principle of individuality or sacrificing one's personal judgment." By sharing these beliefs with friends two members became seven, seven became fifteen, fifteen became twenty-five. What was originally called The Shield and started with two people, is now the Kappa Omicron chapter of the Sigma Chi International Fraternity and has become a group of brothers committed to all that being a Sigma Chi demands.

The Fraternity's mission has been refined to be "Building Balanced Men." With these three words, we capture the essence of SigEp's value to its members: charting a course for men to live their best lives by embracing our cardinal principles of Virtue, Diligence and Brotherly Love and committing to the practice of Sound Mind and Sound Body.

The Cal Psi chapter maintains the highest fraternity GPA and boast over 75 members. In the summer of 2011 and 2013 at SigEps national Conclave in Phoenix, Arizona and Dallas, Texas respectively, Cal Psi won a Buck Cup: an award given only to the most outstanding and accomplished of the 231 Sig Ep chapters nationwide.
