AKA is comprised of a nucleus of 260,000 members in graduate and undergraduate chapters in the United States, the U. S. Virgin Islands, the Caribbean, Canada, Japan, Germany, Korea and on the continent of Africa.

Its membership is comprised of distinguished women who boast excellent academic records, proven leadership skills, and are involved in the global community through advocacy and service. AKA has dedicated itself to improving the quality of life for citizens worldwide and promoting peace.

Alpha Kappa Psi focuses on providing ethical leadership and professional development. Through educational programs, community service, and hands-on-application of formal education, Alpha Kappa Psi students use the business skills they are taught in the classroom to acquire life skills such as the art of compromise, consensus building, project management, interviewing, and networking.

Our ten founders were pioneers of the coeducational system at a time when society said women did not need higher education. Facing such opposition, our founders sought support from each other and formed Alpha Phi in 1872 at Syracuse University.

Alpha Phi's colors are silver and bordeaux, and its symbols include the Phi Bear and the ivy leaf. Alpha Phi enhances and promotes each member's development and learning by focusing on sisterhood, service, scholarship, leadership, loyalty, and character development.

Today, our sisterhood stretches from coast to coast through 160 collegiate campuses and includes more than 200,000 members. Sisters in Alpha Phi share a commitment to excellence and a strong desire to help one another and their communities.

Our chapter was first colonized as a local sorority, but became an international Alpha Phi chapter in 1996. To this day, our chapter is comprised of the highest caliber of women, each member diverse and unique, but bonded together in sisterhood.

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African American Men, was founded at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York by seven college men who recognized the need for a strong bond of brotherhood among African descendants in this country.

The Kappa Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega is comprised of young men at Pepperdine University who not only seek academic excellence and community involvement, but form life-long relationships with their fellow brothers. The mission of Art Club is to foster a safe and positive space on campus for everyone. The focus is to improve our participants' mental health through having a consistent and healthy way of de-stressing and relaxing through art. Art Club has a big event once a month as well as weekly meetings for our members. Due to Art Club's relaxed nature, Art Club is a low commitment club. This means that our members do not have to attend every meeting and they may come and go as they wish throughout the meeting!

Pepperdine University’s Community and Global Health Club is focused on increasing on- and
off-campus awareness of both local and global health issues, from the opioid epidemic to homelessness, and to promote initiatives to help alleviate these burdens.

Membership Benefits
We expect members of this club to develop community and learn more about community and global health through outreach programs, volunteer events, and community activities. We expect members to gain the skills for conducting research about public health issues and knowledge of community and global health. Additionally, members will gain knowledge about how they can impact their communities and lead programs to address community and global health issues. These results will be demonstrated by polling members at the end of the semester to hear about their experience in the club. These surveys will focus on how the Community and Global Health Club has increased their knowledge of public health issues and their ability to lead public health projects and programs.
