Fighting for the God-given rights of every
person, everywhere.
We believe that God created every single person uniquely in
His image. As such, every man, woman, and child deserves to
live free from oppression and suffering at the hands of
broken systems or broken people. Things like freedom,
opportunity, and hope should be unequivocal rights, not
commodities dictated by your birthplace or your bank
account.

Unfortunately, for millions of people around the world,
injustice is a daily reality and a constant burden. In fact,
there are by some estimates 40 million slaves in the world
today, many of whom are children. Millions of girls are
denied the right to an education simply because they are
girls, thousands of innocent people languish in prisons
without access to an attorney, and countless lives are lost
every year due to the lack of access to clean drinking water,
food, or life saving antibiotics.
That is not okay.
To us, global justice means working tirelessly to fix the
broken systems that lead to despair, and to restore freedom,
hope, and opportunity to every person, everywhere.

We, as Undergraduate Members of women's fraternities, stand for good scholarship, for guarding of good health, for maintenance of fine standards, and for serving, to the best of our ability, our college community. Cooperation for furthering fraternity life, in harmony with its best possibilities, is the ideal that shall guide our fraternity activities.

We, as Fraternity Women, stand for service through the development of character inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human service, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenet by which we strive to live.

Pepperdine Ambassadors Council was originally created by a group of students who felt a need for greater leadership opportunities as well as the need to give back to the very same institution that supported them.

The group, which was originally called the Pep 20, was brought together to serve under the Office of the President. Through their pride and enthusiasm they promoted the positive image of Pepperdine. In 1992, the Pepperdine Ambassadors Council was moved from the Alumni Relations Office to University Advancement, where it is today. By redirecting its energies to advancing the University as a whole, the group would represent all Pepperdine students at official University events. For the 2020–2021 academic year, the Pepperdine Ambassadors Council has a membership of 20 ambassadors who uphold the same traditions and ideals of the original Pep 20.

This year's council is humbled and honored by this opportunity and are ready and willing to serve. Ambassadors have held leadership positions in many areas of student development such as the Student Government Association, Campus Ministry, the Housing and Residential Life Office, Greek organizations, and many other campus-wide groups. The Pepperdine Ambassadors Council believes that it can best represent the University by being an integral part of its everyday life.

PeppVet serves to make everyone feel valued, included, supported, challenged, and prepared for God's plan for their lives. Pepperdine currently has over 500 military-connected students; including over 350 veterans, 100 family members, and 8 cadets participating in Reserve Officer Training Corps programs. PeppVet leadership will become valuable points of contact, advocates, and ambassadors to fellow veterans, other students, key advocates, and the Pepperdine community at large. PeppVet is the recognized Pepperdine Chapter of the Student Veterans of America (SVA).
