Pepperdine’s Africana Society is dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community that celebrates the rich diversity of African cultures, traditions, and perspectives. We strive to create a supportive environment for students of African descent, allowing students to share their heritage, engage in meaningful dialogue and build lasting connections. Guided by Christian values of respect, compassion, and unity, our mission is to promote cultural awareness and holistic personal growth, while contributing positively to both our university and the broader community.

The Armenian Student's Association is a non-profit organization that fosters and promotes Armenian culture and heritage to the Pepperdine Community. Furthermore, the Armenian Student's Association shall raise efforts to bring about an awareness of the Armenian Community in the Malibu and Los Angeles area in addition to promoting positive social interactions among Armenian students.

Crossroads GSA is a student-led organization that serves to provide a space where all LGBTQ+ students and allies can gain loving support and engage in dialogue on LGBTQ+ matters.

Crossroads GSA strives to promote sensitivity, foster tolerance, and encourage the discussion of religious, spiritual, cultural, and social issues pertaining to the LGBTQ+ community as well as allies. Crossroads GSA seeks to address misunderstanding, exclusion, and homophobia while also challenging negative stereotypes.

Crossroads GSA engages in service projects in the Los Angeles community related to the well-being of the LGBTQ+ community and people as a whole which affirms Pepperdine's mission statement by preparing students for lives of service, leadership, and purpose.

KASA seeks to promote cultural awareness on the Seaver campus by sharing Korean heritage with our peers. By fostering an understanding of Korean culture, KSA promotes diversity on campus, and provides an avenue for all students with a common interest in and desire to learn more about Korean culture to come together through campus wide activities, convocations, social events, and cultural festivals. The primary objective of KSA is to inspire students to grow in their identity, sense of community and understanding of the Korean culture.

Nikkei Student Union (NSU) aims to bring the Japanese culture to the Pepperdine community from various perspectives so that community members would have the chance to be exposed to and to better appreciate the unique culture rooted from this East-Asian country. The community formed around JSU will be inclusive, welcoming everyone from Japanese descendants to those who are simply curious about Japan, and will be oriented to raise the awareness of cultural diversity through the celebration of Japanese culture and beliefs.

The Pepperdine Hawaii Club strives to educate and engage the Pepperdine community in Hawaiian Culture and its unique aloha spirit. In Hawai’i we have a saying - Aloha aku aloha mai - I give my love to you, and love will always come back. It was a poem written to describe the overwhelming feeling of the people you meet, the places you visit and the experiences and friendships that touch you in unforgettable ways. We hope these feelings reach our community when they attend Luau. Our vision is to expose the community to traditional hawaiian food, games, music, and dancing. Hawaiian culture is often times misunderstood, and Hawai’i Club wishes to be an informative, reliable resource to Pepperdine.

Since its beginnings, the club has maintained about 40 members and incorporated the name "Pakikisama" in 2011. Pakikisama means "camaraderie" or "the ability to get along with others" in Tagalog and the club has strived to incorporate camaraderie into our "pamilya."

We hope to create a community that is united by a common purpose and that promotes intentional programs, servitude and cultural awareness throughout the campus.
